Collection: Beer tastings
Throughout the year, we host regular craft beer tasting sessions at Common House Bucharest, a warm and character-filled space located on the first floor of a historic 1925 building.
Each tasting is a 3 hour guided experience, starting at 7:00 PM, designed to explore beer beyond the glass. Sessions are led by Ioana Coca, professional brewer and founder of Craft Beer Voyage, with years of hands-on experience in the Romanian craft beer industry.
What Happens During a Tasting
You’ll taste five carefully selected craft beers, chosen to represent diverse styles and the three main fermentation categories:
Bottom fermentation (lager)
Top fermentation (ale)
Spontaneous fermentation (lambic / wild)
The beer lineup changes constantly, featuring both Romanian and international breweries. You may encounter classic European styles, modern craft interpretations, experimental beers, or rare barrel-aged releases. Every session is different.
Along the way, you’ll learn how to taste beer properly, understand brewing techniques, recognize aromas and flavors, and discover the stories behind each beer and brewery — all in a relaxed, no-pressure atmosphere.
A Bilingual, Welcoming Experience
Calling all beer enthusiasts — locals, expats, and travelers alike.
Our tastings are bilingual (Romanian & English) and adapt naturally to the group. Whether you live in Bucharest or are just visiting, you’ll be able to follow, ask questions, and fully enjoy the experience. Craft beer knows no borders.
